VPSRated.com is an independent platform reviewing and comparing hosting services worldwide. We cover VPS, VDS, RDP, dedicated, GPU, VPN, and proxy providers — plus a portfolio of 120+ other related services across our sister sites. No paid placements, no sponsored rankings.
I'm Jaouad — a developer, sysadmin, and longtime hosting geek. I founded VPSRated to fix a simple problem: most hosting "review" sites rank providers based on affiliate payouts, not real user experience. I've personally deployed, benchmarked, and maintained production workloads on over 120 different hosting and infrastructure services over the past decade. This site is where I share the honest, data-backed picks I actually use — and avoid.
Picking the wrong hosting provider can waste hundreds of dollars and weeks of migration pain. We exist to make that choice obvious — by publishing benchmarks you can reproduce, collecting real user reviews, and ignoring the marketing fluff.
Our editorial rule is simple: rankings are based on real data and verified user reviews, never on affiliate payouts. Some links on the site are affiliate links that help keep the lights on, but the order of our lists has never — and will never — be influenced by who pays the most.
Rankings ordered by benchmarks and user reviews. Never pay-to-play.
Every test method is public so you can verify our numbers.
Every review is moderated but never cherry-picked. Good and bad, all published.
Sponsored providers always carry a badge. You know when money is involved.
VPSRated is the flagship of a network of 120+ review sites we operate across hosting, infrastructure, and developer tools. The data from that network feeds directly into our rankings here.
Each category below is a separate vertical on VPSRated with its own rankings, filter tool, and in-depth buyer's guide. We also operate dedicated sister sites for many of these categories.
Every provider on VPSRated goes through the same rigorous evaluation before earning a spot. Here's what that looks like in practice.
No comped review units, no PR-managed demos. We sign up as regular paying customers with a fresh credit card.
Every provider runs the same Debian 12 image with sysbench, fio, iperf3, and a 60-day StatusCake uptime probe.
We file three identical pre-sales tickets at different times of day and measure median response quality.
We pull in real user reviews, flag suspicious patterns, and publish both the good and the bad — never cherry-picked.
Every top-20 provider is re-benchmarked every quarter. Any regression in performance or support kicks them down.
